Open House Residency, Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge
Wright & Vandame have just been announced as Artists-in-Residence with Kettle’s Yard for their Open House Residency 2019-20. Over the course of this residency the artists intend to develop their interests in community, empowering individuals through collaboration, and playful methods of artistic production between art and life. In keeping with their interests in well-being, the body, and public space they hope to consider the role of ‘self-help’ in contemporary society and although something often deemed as individualistic they hope to playfully use this as a way of encouraging community members to share information and skills with each other.
