10th August 2016, London

Drawing from a selection of twenty-four unique readymade objects sourced within the local community of South London and twenty-four distinct poses, "10th August 2016" (2016) is a sculptural, lens-based performance made by the artists at their studio.

For this performance, the artists introduced a new action and object for each pose, often playing with objects such as bright multicoloured balloons, baskets and industrial gloves in absurdist and unorthodox approaches. The series of poses was documented with twenty-four photographs. Through the accumulations of these objects and actions, the artists created a spectacular installation celebrating the transience of life and the possibilities that can happen within a single day.
